On Saturday, May 25th at 7:30 pm, UNIS high school students will be attending their annual Prom.
The Prom this year will be held at the Sofitel Plaza Hotel in Le Panorama room on the 19th floor. The tickets are 650,000 VND and the deadline to buy them is May 17th. Students from Hanoi International School are also invited; the ticket price and the deadline for buying are the same. The dress code is formal and the theme is “Alice in Wonderland” which was chosen by the HS senate.
The funds for the Prom come solely from fundraisers and ticket sales. Mr. Garland, faculty advisor for the High School Senate, said, “A total of about 130 tickets need to be sold to the dance portion of the evening completely cover the costs of the event.” He also said that “This is the biggest Senate event of the year and we want it to be a great success!”
This is the first time the Prom has been held at the Sofitel. Finger food and beverages are provided and there will be a photo stand where couples and groups can get pictures taken. The Seniors will come earlier at 6:00 pm for a farewell dinner before the main event begins and will be given a grand entrance once everyone else is in the room at 7:30 pm.
The prom will be a lot of fun and we hope to see you all there!
