The First UNIS Design Exhibition, which was based in the Center for Arts, came to a successful conclusion on Friday 1st June.
The Design Exhibition, featuring design works from DT and IT students in grades 6 through to 10, officially opened at 6:00pm on Wednesday, May 30th. The exhibition was a great success, as it inspired the community with new ideas and products that were on display.
The exhibition was welcomed by everyone—from UNIS students, teachers, parents, and even designers in Hanoi who were very interested in the growing design awareness within the Hanoian community. Some of the DT works include: the Grade 6 clocks, the grade 8 shelves, the grade 9 phone holders, and the grade 10 tables and lamps. Some works from the IT division include: grade 9 websites, grade 10 newscasts and animation. Click on the gallery below to view some of the photos of the works displayed in the exhibition.
With the success of the exhibition came hard work from students, and also the organizers of the event – the Technology Department. The exhibition has shown that the school already has a great level of professionalism developing within the Design community in UNIS. The school also hopes that in the future, Mr Dorian Gibb and his colleagues will organize further successful exhibitions to promote the great design work being produced by the UNIS community.
