“Wreck-it Ralph” is a highly anticipated movie by Dreamworks, it is about “A Regular Guy Just Looking for a Little Recognition…”

The movie is very video-game based, having the entire story within an arcade. Normally, the arcade is the same as any, but after closing time, all characters depart their game. They move between the games through a train station to other games.

The main character, Wreck-it Ralph is the main bad guy of the game “Fix-it Felix Jr.”. Outside of work, Ralph is a nice guy but is discriminated against by the other characters of the game because they think he is the same as when the game is being played, the bad guy. So, after 30 years, he is sick of the discrimination against himself and sets out to earn a medal to prove to the other characters that he isn’t always the same as he is in the game. He goes to the violent shooting game called “Hero’s Duty” and so his adventure begins…

I think this is the children’s movie of the year. It has a very original genre placing it over video-games. I think it appeals to a very large majority of kids as it contains many genres within the games that it features, from horror to classic to racing/dessert. The plot is very interesting, packed full of exploration, humor, heart-breaking moments, and best of all: explosions. Overall it is a great movie to many people, including adults, and has an entertaining storyline. It is a must-watch for everybody.
