The “K
-pop Festival 2012 – Concert in Vietnam” gathered around almost 30,000 fans from Hanoi, at My Dinh Stadium on 29th, November 2012. The event was held by the Korean Broadcasting Corporation and VK Media from Vietnam. This event was to celebrate 20th anniversary of relationship between Korea and Vietnam.
Many K-pop starts were invited to light the stage up, such as SNSD, TVXQ, BAP, B1A44, Infinite, FT island, Miss A, Kara, Sistar, BEAST and many others. Vietnamese singers were also there to light the stage up. For encouraging the relationship between Korea and Vietnam, they sang each other’s song and greeted the fans with local language. Such as Teen Top performed a Vietnamese folk song called “Beo Dat May Troi.”
K-pop fans were so happy and thrilled to see their idols in Vietnam. “I was so happy to see Ailee right I front of me! I was lucky to get an autograph from her since it wasn’t after the concert, but I met her in a restaurant.” Na Young Kim from 10HB said. “I fell in love with Hongki so many times.. It was unbelievable” shared Khanh An Vu from 10TS. The K-pop starts left with a night to remember to local fans in Vietnam.
Earlier, there were another K-pop concert for celebrating 20th anniversary of Vietnam and Korea held in Ho Chi Minh City named “M Live Most Amazing 2012” on 24th November 2012 with Wonder Girls, SanE, ZE:A and other k-pop stars.
