On the 23rd of January, the High School Senate hosted the UNIS Talent Show. The masters of ceremony were our very own editor Viet Than and Lan Pham, both of them in Grade 12. The judges of the talent show were Krisha Valle, Jewel Jackson and teacher Cody Taggart aka ‘White Chocolate’. The event lasted for nearly three hours and there was non-stop entertainment throughout (not accounting for the 15 minute intermission). Most of the acts had to do with music and dance, either the participants sang a song or danced to a tune. Some performed alone, some performed in a pair and some performed in a band. But the one thing that they all had in common and that was they were all in Middle/High School. All of the performances stood out to the audience in their own ways, but by the end the top 3 were decided. 3rd place went to Koko from Grade 9, 2nd place went to brother and sister Duy and My Anh Truong from Grade 10 and 7 respectively; and 1st place went to Nhat Nguyen from Grade 12.
